If I’m homesick, where can I go for a little taste of Americana?
Since its opening in 2007, Bar Jolly Roger in Dominical has grown in reputation and has become a motivating factor for those climbing mountainous Escaleras road, inspired by the reward of the bar/restaurant’s unique menu and ambiance. The cash-only, pirate-themed, open-air establishment is highlighted by a no-frills, casual atmosphere that draws a largely ex-pat clientele.
Best described as a Wing Bar, Jolly Roger’s menu features 19 different wing flavors, as well as 12 different tequilas and the region’s largest selection of imported beer. The menu also features awesome burgers and a wide selection of sides. There is never a dull moment at Jolly Roger, with an animated staff and amazing views of Costa Rica’s southwestern Pacific coast from its hillside location.
