Dominicalito Beach
South of Dominical a charming beach down on the Southern Pacific coast, is Dominicalito Beach. It’s a beach that has something for everyone, whether you love swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling, surfing, or taking long walks. It’s a good option for kids – novice swimmers will be happy with the calm conditions and there’s ample shade under the tall palm trees that line the sand. While sunbathing you will enjoy V formations of pelicans and other marine birds. But the best part of the day will come right before heading to your retreat – prepare for one of the most spectacular sunsets you’ll ever see. If you travel in January or February, you might be witness to an extraordinary phenomenon – Dominicalito Beach is one of only two places in the world where whales from the northern and southern hemisphere meet during migration.
